The Lionel Railroad Set No. 984 was available only in 1961 and 1962 and came with 22 pieces of Plasticville housed in a Type III box.

The set consisted of the following Plasticville items:

3. No. 1620 Loading Platform Baggage Carts 3 baggage carts

4. No. 1405 Railroad Signs 12 railroad signs

5. No. 1000 Telephone Poles 3 telephone poles only

6. No. 1619 Railroad Workers 2 former Littletown citizens (fat      people)

Lionel included an instruction sheet numbered 984-10 that was not dated. This instruction sheet is illustrated below. There are no variations.
