No. 6464-250 - Western Pacific Feather - was cataloged out of numerical sequence in 1966 only. Typically produced on a Type IV body with Multi-block doors, WHITE rubber stamped lettering, BLUE feather and WP logo. Came with late AAR trucks that have disc couplers. There are four variations:

Variation A: Has a Type III body. A rare body type.

Variation B: Has a LIGHT ORANGE Type IV body.

Variation C: Has a MEDIUM ORANGE Type IV body.

Variation D: Identical to Variation C except with a DARK PURPLE feather.

This box car is often confused with Variation E through G of the No. 6464-100.
