The Libby's Tomato Juice Box Car No. 6050 was issued as a promotional car in 1963. This car was also issued in other sets, but it was initally offered as part of Promotional Set No. 19263.
This car has a coin slot in the top that allowed it to be used as a bank and the WHITE body was a Type III, with GREEN, RED, and BLUE heat-stamped lettering and graphics. It came with arch bar trucks with disc couplers. There are two variations. The A Variation, shown to the left, has the GREEN tomato stems, and the B Variation does not. This is believed to be a factory error. |
