The Sunoco Single Dome Tank Car No. 6035 replaced the No. 1005 as part of Lionel’s Scout Series of train sets in 1952 and would be available for one additional year. Created on a GRAY unpainted tank with DARK BLUE rubber-stamped lettering and YELLOW, RED, and DARK BLUE Sunoco diamond. Equipped with late scout trucks with magnetic couplers, all of these cars have blackened frames with no side steps. There are no variations.
