The chimney cap is often missing. This part is necessary to hold the tv antenna. There is no reproduction of this part.

1908 Split Level House Porch and Garage Lights

Split Level Porch & Garage Lights
There are two of these lights in this kit, one mounts next to the front door, and the other above the garage door. They are the smallest parts in the kit and this is also why they are often missing. There is no reproduction of this part. Also used on the Bungalow.

Split Level Downspouts

These parts are often missing from this house. Replacement parts are made.

Split Level House Shades

Split Level House Drapes (shades)

Often these drapes are missing from the front window on this house. Usually, I have to obtain two or three of these structures to get one complete set of drapes. There are no reproductions available for these parts.

Split Level House Adhesive Curtains (shades)

This house came with a sheet of curtains that were to be applied on the inside of the walls covering the windows. This sheet is illustrated to the right. The instructions on the sheet stated, "REMOVE WINDOW GLASS AND CURTAIN FROM PAPER BACKING AND PRESS ADHESIVE SURFACE TO INSIDE OF WINDOW." We strongly urge you not to do this!

When this was done, often after years of attracting dust, they look worse than had these windows been left open. Not applying these curtains and keeping them on the original sheet will enhance the value of this kit. For additional information see: The Problem With Adhesive Curtains.
