The TCA Caboose No. 6517-1966 was produced in 1966 by Lionel for the Train Collectors Association (TCA) National Convention in Santa Monica, California. The ORANGE painted body is rubber-stamped with the TCA’s logo for this convention. This caboose is equipped with 2400 Series Passenger Car trucks.
There were only 700 of these cars that were produced, and the first 500 of them were painted RED in error and had to be repainted ORANGE.
