The Lionel Refrigerator CarsThe Refrigerator Car No. 6472 was the non-operating version of the No. 3472 Automatic Milk Car. Available from 1950 until 1953, this 9-1/4 inch car has an unpainted WHITE body with functional doors and has BLACK heat-stamped lettering. The car is numbered "RT6472" to the right of the doors. There are three variations:
Variation A: Has steps at the four corners of the chassis with staple-end trucks that have magnetic couplers. 1950 production.

Variation B: No steps with staple-end trucks that have magnetic couplers. 1951 production.

Variation C: No steps with bar-end trucks that have magnetic couplers. 1951-53 production.
