Lionel 6456 Series Hopper CarsThe Lehigh Valley Hopper Car No. 6456-50 is listed in the Production Table as Variation C of the Type III GLOSSY RED painted body that has WHITE lettering. This car was available only in 1954 and shows the number "25000" and "6456" on the sides of the car. It was equipped with bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers.

A difficult car to find today. Forgeries exist, so the collector should examine all of the lettering to verify that a heat stamp was used.
