The Operating Sheriff & Outlaw Car No. 3370 would have a sheriff and outlaw engage in a gun battle as the car was pulled along the tracks by popping up and down through openings in the roof of the car. Produced from 1961 until 1964, the movement of sheriff and outlaw was done by a cam located on an axle that was connected to a lever and pawl assembly.
This unpainted GREEN 9-1/4" stock car came with YELLOW heat-stamped "WELLS FARGO" lettering and car data. The car doors are non-operating.
Came with a No. 3370-17 instruction sheet that is dated 6-61 and is printed in BLACK ink on WHITE paper. A copy of the inside fold of this instruction sheet is shown below.
There are two variations:
Variation A: Is lettered for "WELLS FARGO" and would have AAR trucks equipped with disc couplers. |
