The Pennsylvania Gondola Car No. 2452X was available during 1946 and 1947. The "X" is the degination that Lionel used to indicate that this car was included only in sets.
Produced on a BLACK body with WHITE lettering, this car, unlike the No. 2452, did not have a brake wheel. Equipped with staple-end trucks with electronic coil couplers that are attached to a metal underframe that is held in place by four fillister head screws one at each corner. This gondola car is stamped on the underside with the number "2452X" and did not come with barrels.
