Lionel Trains FA A Unit DieselThe Lionel Chesapeake & Ohio FA A Unit No. 225 was available only in 1960 on a painted DARK BLUE body with YELLOW heat-stamped lettering and "C and O" herald on the front. There is no YELLOW roof line stripe that is shown on the No. 230 and the No. 2024. It has front and rear solid non-operating couplers and was mounted on a sheet metal frame. This diesel has a Type IIC motor that is controled by a two-position directional unit whose lever is adjustable from the top. This engine was equipped with two-axle Magnetraction and it did have a light, but there is no horn. There are no variations.

No. 225 Box End

This engine was designed to run on O27 Gauge track, but it will run equally well on O Gauge track.
