The kit included paper political banners that were designed to go on the sides of the passenger cars. These banners were for a Democratic or Republican candidate, the Secret Service, and the Press Corps.

Two sided tape was included to hold these banners to the car sides as was illustrated on the "C Sheet." The customer was to cut this tape into thin stripes to hold these banners to the sides of the cars. Six sheets were included in this kit. They were labeled "A" to "F" and we’ve illustrated these sheets below.

No. 1640-100 Candidate and Audience

Also included were sixteen figures of the candidate and an audience. These citizens were made available by Plasticville and were housed in a separate sealed clear cellophane package. We’re unsure exactly which citizens were included. In the picture above two of the citizens were manufactured by Littletown which Plasticville absorbed in 1955. Can you find the two Littletown citizens? If you have any information about the contents concerning the citizens that were included in this accessory we would like to hear from you. Please use the "Contact" link at the bottom of this page.
