The Lionel VW Transformer was available in 1948 and 1949. This was the transformer that came with the "Electronic Set." Capable of producing 150 watts, this transformer would operate four individual trains on four variable voltage circuits with whistle and directional control on two of those circuits. Has a built-in circuit breaker. This transformer was replaced by the 275 Watt ZW in 1950.
