Lionel Trains RWM TransformerThe Lionel RWM Transformer was available from 1948 until 1954. Built for the Canadian market that used, during the issue period, 125 volt, 50 cycle current. This transformer generated 100 Watts of power and would control one train.

It has a built-in circuit breaker, and buttons that control the direction of the train and the horn/whistle circuit. There are no variations.

Although these transformers that Lionel made for the foreign markets are much harder to find than those that were produced for the domestic market, they are not that more expensive due to collector’s lack of interest.
