Remote Control Track Section No. RCS was available from 1945 until 1949. After Lionel introduced the magnetic coupler that was used with Staple-End Trucks in 1949 the UCS Section replaced this track.

A four line flat cable connected the track to its controller that performed both the uncoupling and unloading functions on the rolling stock that was equipped with electronic coil operating couplers. There two variations of this track:

Variation A: The Controller has RED push buttons.

Variation B: The Controller has GREEN push buttons.
