The Lionel U.S. Railroad Map No. 950 was produced for Lionel by Rand McNalley between 1958 and 1966. This 52" by 37" map showed the major railroads of the period and illustrated many of their heralds around the border.
Some of these maps were folded and were included with special promotions and uncataloged sets during the years it was in production. Others were available for separate sale and these maps came in a rolled spiral tube with Lionel’s number 950 printed on them. One of these tubes is shown below. While the map is fairly common, the tube is hard to find, and today a substantial premium is paid for these maps that include the tube. There are no variations.
