Lionel Trains U.S.M.C. DUCK Flat Car No. 6807The U.S.M.C. "DUCK" Flat Car No. 6807 came with an amphibious boat also known as the DKW or "DUCK." This boat was labeled "PYRO/MADE IN/U.S.A." on the underside and was secured to the chassis by a No. 6418-9 elastic band.

Produced in 1958 and 1959, this flat car was part of the Marine Corps set and has heat-stamped lettering with the number to the left of the "LIONEL" inscription on the side of the car. It came with early AAR trucks with closed journals and was equipped with disc couplers.

There are two variations:

Variation A: The flat car uses mold No. 6511-2.

Variation B: The flat car uses mold No. 6424-11.

The boat has been reproduced, so collectors should always check for the "PYRO" inscription.
