Lionel Trains Missouri Pacific Eagle Box Car No. 6464-150Missouri Pacific Eagle Box Car No. 6464-150 was available in 1954 and 1955, and again in 1957. This was the first multi-colored 6464 car that Lionel produced. They used a masking system that was imperfect and to better define the separation of the colors the body mold was modified to include "grooves" in the sides. Later editions that used a silk-screen for color separation did not have these "grooves." This was one of the many color modifications that were made to this car that resulted in more variations than any other box car in this series.

The common characteristics found in all of these cars are GRAY roof and center side band with BLUE upper and lower side bands that have BLACK rubber-stamped lettering on the GRAY band and WHITE rubber-stamped lettering on the BLUE bands. There are a total of 16 variations and because of this they have been separated into five different groups that are based on their common attributes.
