NYC Pacemaker Box Car No. 6464-125No. 6464-125 - New York Central Pacemaker was available from 1954 until 1956 on a TYPE IIA body and usually came with Single-Block doors. The number "6464125" is stamped on the sides and it is equipped with bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers.

Inconsistent masking caused some of these car’s roof line rivits to be either RED or GRAY. In addition, on some of those issues that were rubber-stamped the second "S" in "SYSTEM" has a tail. This was caused by a flaw in the rubber-stamp. See the close-up picture below. There are six variations:

Variation A: Both RED and GRAY colors are painted and the lettering utilizes a rubber-stamp.

Variation B: Is identical to Variation A except the second "S" in "SYSTEM" has a tail.

Variation C: Is identical to Variation A except the lettering utilizes a heat-stamp.

Variation D: Has an unpainted RED body with GRAY painted lower sides, roof and ends and utilizes a rubber-stamp.

Variation E: Is identical to Variation D except the second "S" in "SYSTEM" has a tail.

Note the 'tail' on the second 'S' on Variations B and E

Variation F: Is identical to Variation D except the lettering utilizes a heat-stamp.
