Truck Trailer Flat Car No. 6405 came with truss rods and early AAR trucks and disc couplers. The YELLOW Type 9 trailer was inscribed "MADE IN THE U.S. OF AMERICA / THE LIONEL CORPORATION / NEW YORK, N.Y." This trailer has the slots for the name plates, but no name plates were included.

This car and trailer were only available in 1961 as part of Set No. 1642 whose contents did not have individual boxes. However, it is not difficult to find an ORANGE picture box for this car. The trailer and trailer wheels have been reproduced so collectors should use caution when purchasing this car.
