The Lionel Seaboard NW-2 Switcher No. 602 unlike its predecessor No. 601 had an interior light and solid non-operating couplers. Produced in 1957 and 1958 on a BLACK sheet metal frame, this diesel had a painted BLACK body with RED painted stripes and WHITE heat-stamped lettering and Seaboard railroad herald decal on the cab. This switcher used a Type IIE motor, two axle Magnetraction, and was equipped with an operating horn, and a three position directional unit whose control lever was adjustable from the bottom of the body. There are no variations.
This engine was cataloged for use on O27 Gauge track, but it will run equally well on the wider radius of O Gauge track.
