Lionel Trains Billboard Blinker No. 410The Billboard Blinker No. 410 was intended to be used with the No. 310 Billboard Set. By the use of a thermal switch the light would blink off and on. There is an adjusting screw to control the rate of blinking on the back side. The thermal heating element and the lamp are wired in series and this is why it came with a No. 51 (L51) 6-8 volt bayonet lamp. The lamp housing and bracket were imported from the No. 70 Yard Light. The Billboard Blinker was produced from 1956 until 1958 and was constructed entirely out of BLACK sheet and cast metal.

Two different instructions sheets were produced and both are dated 6-56. One has BLACK ink on YELLOW paper, and the other has DARK BLUE ink on WHITE paper.

There are no known variations for this accessory, however, an identical blinker was produced by MPC in the Modern Era under the No. 2307 from 1982 until 1986.
