The doors for this car are painted SILVER and YELLOW, however, the body of the car has a YELLOW feather, and "Rides Like a Feather" in BLACK decal. With age the decal film has turned BROWN. The body, like the door, is painted SILVER. This car has bar-end trucks with magnetic couplers.
As with almost all of the SILVER painted equipment, Lionel had problems with the fading of this paint. Today, a premium is paid for paint finishes that are bright and without blemish. There are no variations.
