Lionel Trains Plate Girder Bridge No. 314The Plate Girder Bridge No. 314 was a carry-over from the pre-war era. The sides were cast metal and they were riveted to a thick sheet metal base that supported the track.

Produced from 1945 until 1950, on the first full panel to the left side there is a raised inscription that reads "BUILT BY / LIONEL". There are two variations:

Variation A: BLACK rubber-stamped "LIONEL" lettering is slightly above center and is 5/16" high. 1945-46 production.

No. 314 Middle Classic Box End

Variation B: Produced in a DARKER GRAY shade with BLACK rubber-stamped "LIONEL" lettering is centered and is 3/8" high. 1949-50 production.
