The Lionel Lines Summit Observation Car No. 2436 was available from 1954 until 1956. The car body and roof are painted SILVER and it has RED heat-stamped lettering. This car is lighted by two lamps that are held in place by metal brackets that are also used to hold the roof to the body. There are people silhouettes on the interior window inserts. It came with Type IV die-cast four-wheel passenger trucks equipped with magnetic couplers. There are no variations.
