The Lionel Transformer No. 1034 was never issued for separate sale. It was only available in sets that did not have an engine with a whistle or horn between the years 1948 and 1954. This transformer generated 75 Watts of power and has a built-in circuit breaker.
In addition, it was designed to use 115 volt 60 cycle current, but could also operate on 150 volt 60 cycle outlet power.
The RED button controls the direction of the train.
There are two variations:
Variation A: Has the "UL" symbol and BLUE ink on the cover plate.
Variation B: Does not have the "UL" symbol and has BLACK ink on the cover plate. |
